Burlington June 11th 1858
Hon Geo P. Marsh
Dear Sir Will you be kind enough to step into Watsons Marble Shop & direct how to finish up the Tablets of Marble. I think now we shall want to set them as soon as Monday.
I saw Pomeroy last evening about the inscription how it shall read, after 1789.
Pomeroy wished to see you whether anything Should be said about his being buried beneath this monument.
