Der Sir
When at yr. house you will recollect you thought you would call the Commrs. together this week at Montpr.
The object of this is to say that I saw (this morning) Dr. Powers take the Cars for Boston, I ask.d him how long he was to be gone. He said till Saturday, I thot. it possible you would defer your meeting till next week.
The Dr. had no suspicions of any reason why I askd. him, I did think you would want him here, when the Commrs. met
