Gentlemen

Enclosed please find $33 which I have today received from Rutland on subscription list to the Ethan Allen Statue. -- There are a number of subscriptions yet unpaid but Mr Haven a friend of mine in Rutland will collect them as soon as he has opportunity. I will send the subscription list with names of contributors when all is collected --- I am going to New York on Monday and shall probably be there two months. I suppose Mr Baxter will do as he proposed about the marble. --
