Dear Powers
I take pleasure in introducing to you my friends and neighbors Mr and Mrs Albert L. Catlin, who are about to sail for Europe, and propose to visit Florence.
I envy them their enjoyment in seeing "Italy redeemed," and am happy to add that they are persons of the right taste and culture to derive substantial profit, as well as pleasure, from the -------------------------------- Page -------------------------------- contemplation of the wonders of art and nature in which the Old World is so rich.
I shall be thankful for any civilities you may find it convenient to show them, and am
truly yours
George P. Marsh note:H Powers Esq note:Florence
