Description
May 23, 1942. This view is taken approximately at the top of the slope on the southerly shoulder of the proposed roadway leading to the proposed City Dump site on the Intervale. The house shown in this picture is the residence commonly known as the Pomeroy Cottage. The railroad tracks in the background of the picture are the Central Vermont tracks leading to the tunnel. The power line poles at the right in the picture are on the approximate right hand shoulder of the roadway leading down the grade.
