April 14, 1934. Photo #13. City of Burlington, Vermont Federal Project P.W.A. Sewer Project No. 2353. Sewer construction - Home Ave. looking East from intersection of Richardson St. showing rock excavation. Note number of boulders encountered in this section in addition to ledge. The trench has standing water in it as the men do their work. Black metal lunch boxes are gathered on some of the boulders on the right. Dirt roads still evident in mud season.
