Description
September 4, 1930. The city of Burlington Street Dept workmen are laying quick drying Incor Cement in front of Shell filling station (not visible in photo but is to the left) at the corner of North St and North Ave. To the left is Saiger's Department Store at 87-95 North Ave, Alex Colodny, proprietor. To the right is 2 North Street owned by Joseph Arnold. More on this photo can be found at UVM's Historic Burlington Project Burlington, Vermont Old North End 1930s and 1940s.
