All house sites in Queen City Park evolved from tent sites, sometimes two or three in combination, and until about 1930 all were seasonal camps. No lots or structures in QCP by the mid 1940's resemble this.

There were two Hotels in Queen City Park. The first is believed to have been in place when the State Spiritualist organization purchased the property. After it burned a larger one was constructed. That one burned around 1939. This structure does not resemble either of them. McAllister was active in the Queen City Park Association and owned a summer studio there. Some photographs may have been marked with the QCP address for that reason.
