June 19, 1941. Burlington Municipal Airport, WPA (Work Projects Administration) Project. This view of the work on the new diagonal runway is the same area which is shown in the previous picture but looking to the northwest from a point near the intersection of the diagonal runway with the easterly end of the east-west runway.
