Description

Undated photo but may be 1928-1929. Trolley track rails can still be seen embedded in the street. This is the base of Colchester Ave looking east with two retail businesses seen. Building on the right stands at 485-487 Colchester at the corner of Barrett Street. Ernest C. Potvin, grocer at number 487. Building on the left is listed in the City Directory 1929 as L. D. Mills and Son, mechanics. Sign attached advertises Socony motor oil. More information about this photo can be found on UVM's Historic Burlington Project web site.
