Description
August 3, 1944. This view taken from the hill opposite the railroad tracks shows the entrance gate and road leading down the slope also the newly grassed slope on the North Bend St. side of the road as well as the new grass slope between the road and the railroad track. Only a small amount of the raw slope remains to be completed and grassed over near the Pomeroy Cottage as shown on the right side of this picture.
