This class became the Rice Memorial Class of 1960. My class started at Cathedral High School in the fall of 1955 and we graduated as the first class to graduate from the "new Catholic school," Rice Memorial High School in 1959. I was a co-salutatorian with Mary Fitzsimons. Mary's sister, Christine is the girl in the plaid dress in the middle of the first row (I think). Also, if my memory serves me, in the front row from L. to R. are Simone George, Josephine Bernardini, ?, Jane Bassey (or was it spelled Bassi?), then Christine...I don't know the rest. I also recognize David Mallory among the boys. He actually took me to the prom the year he was a junior and I was a senior. Starting with Christine in the front row, count three people above her and David is the guy in a light colored sport coat with its right lapel showing. The priest to the far left is Father Wendell Searles. I also see Joe Thomas, Jim Leddy, and Tom Perras in the back row in front of the middle section of the church doors.
