If I remember right, after St. Joseph's closed the Burlington School District rented the building from the diocese briefly while renovation was done on Barnes as part of its' reinvention as the magnet Sustainability Academy. It would've've been an interesting experience for anyone who transferred to go to parochial and public school in the same building with different teachers - did anyone? Might be worth asking, maybe through the Young Writers' Project?
