April 23, 1934 view of Pearl Street. Elm trees and dwellings line both sides of the road. A filling station is to the right. On the left cement steps are seen leading from the curb across the green belt (tree belt) to nearby homes. Automobiles are parked along the sides of the street as others travel along it.
