Johnson, Vt.

June 27. 1887.

My dear Kate:-

Looking over my papers today I found these report cards. I should so like to keep them but know you will want them.

I am so glad you and Miss P. have the school for my mind will be easy on that score.

I was very tired Sat. night when I reached home but am getting rested. The Dr. says if I am careful and keep on gaining I shall be stronger, tougher and uglier by fall -------------------------------- Page 2 --------------------------------than I have ever been. Please give my love to Carrie and the rest of your people, And if it will not be to much trouble please remember me to your scholars,-those that were mine.

I expect to hear from Carrie soon,

I know you will succeed in your work,

Let me hear from you soon

Lovingly--

Ida.
