Sabbath P.M.
Dear Home,
I am so busy that I may not be able to send anything by next mail unless I write just a line now. We have service today the regt. in hollow square paying good attention – also had a short meeting this morning – and are to have tent prayer meetings this evening We are comfortably situated and quite well except John has hurt his eye – not -------------------------------- Page 2 -------------------------------- seriously I hope. I am post master and various other things but hope to have more leisure soon
Our regt has moved three times since we reached Washington and is now with the other Vt. regts. but probably not so great danger.
