- Abstract: The Peake family arrived in the area that would become Addison County, Vermont, in 1779, when William Peake (1740-1813) moved with his family from Nantucket to the frontier town of Monkton. William's son Seth (1784-1827) settled in nearby Bristol in 1810 as a saddler and storekeeper, beginning more than a centry and a half of Peake residency in that community. The Peake Family Papers consist of approximately six linear feet of correspondence, bound manuscripts, diaries and other miscellaneous papers. The chronological span of the collection is from 1793 to 1955, with the heaviest concentration of material falling between 1840 and 1900.

- Abstract: Pettengill was a lawyer and a journalist. He served as United States Representative from Indiana. Collection includes eighteen vols. of newspaper columns entitled "Inside Your Congress" written by Pettingill, dealing chiefly with current events on the political scene, including the conduct of World War II, the establisment of the North Atlantic Tready Organization ( NATO ), and the United Nations, and the growing "red scare" over communism. Many of the pages contain annotations and other markings.

- Abstract: The Prospect School and Center for Education and Research Archives contains the archives of the Prospect School (1965-1991) and the Prospect Archive and Center for Education and Research (1979-2010). The largest portion of the collection is comprised of the Prospect Archive of Children’s Work, which consists of visual and written work produced by more than sixty children who attended Prospect School. The collection also includes records and publications documenting Prospect’s administration, curriculum, adult educational programs, and consulting projects. The approximately 284 linear feet of materials in the collection encompasses manuscripts, artwork, photographs, and films dating between 1964 and 2011.
