Series 5 Synoptic Observation Records, Nov 1961-Oct 1975 .75 linear feetScope and ContentThe 3- and 6-hourly synoptic observations, transferred from other recordings to the monthly form. The forms contain basic climatological information: temperature, humidity, barometric pressure, cloud cover, wind speed and direction, as well as any comments by the observers. Some of the records are accompanied by notes of questions and comments returned from the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration. Daily Observations are filed with the Synoptic Observations after Aug 1992. |
