My dear Sir: I have your
favor and am more and more
surprised at the action of my
quondam friend, Henry Clark, but
Mr. Hoar's bill has been postponed
until March and hear it is re-
garded by some as virtually killed.
Can I do anything to promote
our interests at Middlebury or North-
field? Prst. White of Cornell made
here a very able address to further
