quondam friend, Henry Clark, but
Mr. Hoar's bill has been postponed
until March and hear it is re-
garded by some as virtually killed.
Can I do anything to promote
our interests at Middlebury or North-
field? Prst. White of Cornell made
here a very able address to further

additional aid to National Colleges
and sharply replied to Eliot and
McCosh.
