I received your last letter and papers in due season We left Peach Grove about the 14 We went out to Warr enton a few days ago and found the rebel pickets there Our regt is under marching orders to take the field this summer we may start any hour we was paid off at Peach Grove up to the 1st of May I got my pict ure taken which I will send to you Excuse this short letter and write soon
