I have asked Mrs. T. to night about my board, and she to my sorrow, says she cannot wait, for she had to hire the money for her rent and this money she has got to have to pay that back. I am sorry it has happened so, and I would have asked her before but there was not a doubt in my mind but what she could wait.

S. Sat. Night.

Papa, I have asked Mrs. T. again this morning and she said she had hired the money for her rent and that was due the 24th. but if we could not get it for by Wed. for her she would wait a day or two.

And now Papa what I want is, for you to hire the money for her & when the villi school is out we can pay it back. It is kind of a hard spot for me, but if you will see to it Mon. morning and let me hear from you right away, it will bee all right, And when Carrie comes up Wed. send me $1. if you can, for I

need it.

I want you and mama to be up here Wed. night anyway, and hear this eve chicken speak, and see if you feel ashamed of her.

I suppose there is no doubt but what I can go into the village school as I have not heard from you. Have been in model room all the last of this week.

Please let me know by Wed. what you can do.

In an awful hurry & love to all,Kate.
