At last I have found a few moments to spend in writing to you.

After I left you I went to B and went to the dentists and sat with my mouth stretched from ear to ear for a couple of hours.

I found the Reindeer was over on an excursion, so was able to reach my sisters the same day.

Among the first I met as I went aboard the boat was a gentleman friend from Grand Isle so I had a very pleasant ride home.

I intended to write to you the Sunday after I left you but Sat. night my sister and I watched with a sick friend and Sunday morning I went to call on a sick friend and went to church and there found two gentlemen friends from S. Hero who wished me to go home with, so I did so and my [chums] seeing me through the [window] stoped and made me go to afternoon meeting and Sunday evening of course I must go, so the day passed and I did not write and since, I have not had time. A company of us talked of going camping last week but it was given up as three couple were

going to Saratoga to the [Y.P.C.E.] Convention. They started this morning. My cousin Anna and I came over here with them We came over in a sail boat. The wind was blowing a perfect gale and I was so sick. As there were several in the boat a young gentleman and I were obliged to sit in the same place when sick and we just had to fly around First I was sick and he had to give me his seat then when I got better he had to have it then I was sick again, o dear it was awful. My cousin and I are now waiting at the dock for the wind to go down so that we can go back to the Island

and as we did not know how long we must wait I proposed that we spend our time writing.
