Your good letters of Sept 28th with Katie Parkers and yours of Oct 1st came in here yesterday. George also got one from Emory. I can only say to you this morning that I am well yet, so is George and all the rest of us, and that we are in the same place as when I wrote last, and that there is nothing new from our line to write - as we have about the same thing here over and over. You get the regular Army news much oftener and quicker than we do as we do not get anything but once a week. I will not try to answer your letters until I have more time (Sunday I guess) but will call this a “good morning". As ever your loving husband
