you will see by the feeling of this that we have moved we started Monday morn at two & marched to this place 12 miles from the old Camp the Rebels evacuated Center Vill & Manassas it is thought that we shall go to Washington in the morning & down the Potomac it is very plesant & has ben for some time I think that I shall see home in a few months if I live I got your last letter

tusday it found me as usual when you write direct as usual I know not when it will find me I will write as often as I can get a letter sent
